“Committed” is a wedding show for the couple that visualizes their wedding not only as a celebration of their commitment to each other, but as the best damn party of their lives. The wedding event will be comprised of members of the Chicago Green Wedding Alliance, all of which are committed to the mission of running their businesses as socially and environmentally responsibly as they can. We love “committed” couples- and committed couples love us… so let’s have a party and get to know each other, shall we?
Please join us on Sunday, February 26th from 12 to 4pm at the newly opened Greenhouse Loft where we will be have beer, wine, and mixology demonstrations from Chicago’s finest local vendors. Sample organic and sustainable food from Chicago’s best caterers. Enjoy fresh ideas and samples for all aspects of your wedding from flowers to invitations, photographers to entertainers, planning tips and more!

Lauren and Sam kicked off 2012 with a bang – 40 degrees and sunny in January- we’ll take it! These two are so so sweet – every glance, kiss, touch between these two and their families was filled with the warmest most sincere love. It was a romantic winter day – perfectly executed with the help of Melissa and her team of Simply Perfect by Melissa. We started with getting ready at The Wit before their rustic, dreamy, candlelit ceremony and reception at Gallery 1028. The decor by Event Creative transformed the space into a winter wonderland of flickering candles, shadows of hanging branches dancing across the walls, a cocktail reception with plenty of opportunity to mingle, and my favorite moss cubbies in the face of the bar – amazing.

Sam was having way too much fun in the revolving doors on our way to the terrace at The Renaissance for portraits. So much excitement!
