As promised here are the details from Laura and Cory’s big day in MN earlier this month – if you’ve been keeping up with their story here’s their cheers at the local brewery, as well as, the keg in the hallway during our tornado watch!!

Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of traveling to Minneapolis to capture Laura and Cory’s big day!  Things started off with a bang when my flight from Chicago to Minneapolis took a detour to Waterloo, IA – I guess it was better than circling in tornados over the cities!!  When I finally arrived for the weekend it was nonstop excitement.  On the big day everyone got ready at  the beautiful historic Our Lady of the Lourdes, being 150yrs old and all let’s just say the “air conditioning” was original (it was HOT).  Along with all the heat came some rain – but thankfully during portraits we could run for cover under the great pedestrian bridgeway by the Mill City Museum area.  We wrapped up the portraits and made a pit stop at a local brewery before heading over to Midland Hills Country Club.  I would be lying if I said our weather excitement ended here….I mean why not have a tornado watch during dancing right?!?  At least they brought the keg into the interior hallways with us (more to come on this in my details post!!)  There were so many wonderful moments throughout the day with these close-knit families and friends – here are a few of my favorites:

Here are a few of my favorite details from Gabrielle and Anthony’s Morton Arboretum wedding!  From a flowy gown to sparkly flats, one of Gabrielle’s first gifts from Anthony (anklet), an heirloom necklace and family water containers, bright florals and a Ginkgo inspired cake, all topped off with a rainbow!
