I was excited to explore Loyola’s campus with Catherine and Bobby for their engagement session.  They both loved the architecture of the buildings and specifically the Chapel area – we were graced with amazing skies and light which added to my excitement!  These two totally rocked it and I am really happy with the variety of images we ended with.  After Loyola we headed back into the city for a few West Loop hot spots and Kinzie Street Bridge.  Looking forward to another gorgeous day for their wedding this October!

Caitlin and Brendan were troopers braving one of the hottest afternoons at the beach for their engagement session.  We found some great spots with wonderful light and managed to get away from most of the crowds gearing up for the air and water show.  One of the greatest things for me in photographing couples is not only capturing their connection to each-other but gaining their trust to make a connection with me as well.  This connection/trust makes shooting such a breeze – this happened seamlessly with Caitlin and Brendan – it was like we’ve been friends for years and we were just out for a walk creating awesome images – ahhh so fun!!

Denise and Ron were a riot to hang out with – we started things out at Osaka Garden (in Jackson Park right behind the Museum of Science & Industry).  We then ventured into the loop to catch the glimmering lights from the Art Institute’s Modern Wing Bridge.  In just the short time shooting with these two I know their special day will be filled with many laughs and lots of love!

Margaret and Jake’s big day is soon approaching and I can’t wait for all the fun moments!  Margaret and Jake have a great sense of humor, easy going personalities and share a great love for their families.  Margaret and Jake will start their new lives together in Logan Square – so what better place to capture them as a couple!  I loved the urban neighborhood feel – it was fun exploring the square/boulevards – not to mention the amazing roof top deck of Jake’s condo (their soon to be new home!).  See you guys again real soon!!

Escuse me while I catch up on some much needed blogging!!!  I shot with Jill and AJ a few weeks back to celebrate their recent engagement – we had such a blast walking around Navy Pier and Olive Park.  These two lovebirds have been dating since they were 13 ….or was it 15….anywho A LONG TIME!!  I loved that the shoot brought such a young playful vibe to remember the days when they first met.  Best wishes for the two of you!!
