Introducing my new series of inspiration shoots. These shoots will be a personal exploration of light, concepts, movement, and emotion all with an underlying editorial root. I’m hoping they will not only serve as inspiration to me but also to all of you in your own projects, life, and events. As many of you may or may not know I went to college for editorial photography and have carried this background into my weddings and natural kids portraits. My Brother and Sister-in-Law (and most adorable niece) are expecting their second princess next month and we couldn’t be more excited!! I did a session with them last week – it was really fun to let loose and try some new things with shooting as well as processing…let me know whatcha think!

A few weeks back my husband and I managed to escape the daily grind to the beautiful island of Kauai. We have wonderful friends (new and old) that live on the island welcoming us with open arms and to them I am SO SO thankful!!! We spent our days hiking, swimming, kayaking and most of our nights winding down with campfires on the beach. While we were camping one night at Polihale Beach we met Paige. I was ecstatic when I saw her down by the water fire spinning – with a little help from our buddy Webber – Paige was gracious enough to do an impromptu photo session with me! THANK YOU PAIGE!!
